In the hush before dawn, when the first light trembles on the Horizon, there is a music that does not begin — because it has always been.
It breathes through the winds that curl around Himalayan peaks and it whispers in the stillness of ancient caves.
This is the music of His Holiness Sohamm Babajee — a river of sound flowing from silence itself.
His melodies are not composed; they are revealed — drawn from the unseen, as if the universe itself leans in to listen.
Each note is a mantra, each pause a prayer, each rhythm a heartbeat of the Infinite.
He does not play for the ear alone, but for the Soul — awakening forgotten spaces within, where sorrow dissolves and joy rises unbidden.
Music is a universal language, the purest form of communication with which the world communicates – people to people, Soul to Soul.
Perhaps, after silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is Music. It is one of the world’s enduring mysteries. And it manifests itself in vibrations which preserve all its secrets.
The vibrations of music liberate the Soul to unite with God.
Music is often called the Truth, always considered a Divine or Celestial art. Thus, it has always been accepted as the sources of spiritual perfection. It teaches humans to love one another.
Music is the Art of Arts, the Science of all Sciences and it contains within itself the fountain of all knowledge.
It has been heard from time immemorial in every culture, every nation, every corner of the world. The music of the spheres.
The harmony of the universe. The rhythms that make the stars burn and the planets turn. The tunes that make nature dance.
The primal vibrations that guide the indomitable life force in the flowing of rivers, in the salmon swimming against the currents, in the great migrations of the wild beast in the Serengeti plains.
To be born. To mate. To create life. To transcend the living. Prophets and Philosophers have understood it. Ascetics and holy men have meditated to it. Gurudevas have guided their disciples to it.
In Egypt and Greece, Babylon and Indus, its presence has been acknowledged and recorded.
The music of the spheres connects all life, communicates effortlessly with all life. It links body to body, mind to mind, heart to heart, Soul to Soul.
Its notes contain us, envelop us, enable us to enter the Divine within us.
If you understand the measure, the rhythm and the melody, which are basically present in all things of life, you can perform everything in human life, like writing books, composing music, making films, making love, etc.
Music that comes from the core of the heart with true devotion, saturated with life force, faith, love and the fire of awareness, is the real music. It is understandable by all hearts whether familiar with it or not. One who sings, plays or listens to such music with true devotion will find boundless joy and may experience the union of Body, Mind and Soul.

Listening to His Music is a journey to be conscious of interpreting existence through waves of sound and silence.
To discover ourselves and to bow down before the Omnipresent Creative Force that is the ultimate, complete and existing within creation.
His Music is inspired and He tries to capture that Force which moves us, which has always moved us since the beginning of Time.
Having travelled extensively through the continents with deeply sensitive and discerning ears, Babajee’s close interaction with the ethnic and urban people across the globe — the rhythm of their lives, the tonalities and tensions of their folklores and the subtle differences of sounds in their languages — gave Him the unmatched advantage of being able to move through the musical consciousness of entire civilisations.
His music stands apart and exhibits the best musical tradition, the beauty, the mystery and the diversity the world has to offer.
The magical blend of disparate cultures is awe-inspiring of itself and is a delight rarely savoured in the world of Sound.
It is in order to encourage people to share these visions of Sohamm Babajee that the “Music from the World of Babajee” (Germany) has been established.
Babajee published His first music CD; “Tagore Songs Part 1” in 1996.
While the lyrics were from the Indian Bengali polymath and Nobel Prize winner in Literature, Rabindranath Tagore, the enchanting music was composed, recorded, mixed, mastered and produced by the immensely and multifariously talented Music Composer Sohamm Babajee.
